The GFL Hall of Fame selection committee never voted on Kevin Greene, because it was thought that he had passed the 30000-point mark. However, upon further review it has been determined that Greene came up 238 points shy of automatic enshrinement. The chair of the selection committee has decided that Greene definitely would have been voted into the Hall, probably unanimously. Greene was an All-Pro for 6 of his 10 GFL seasons, including his first and last seasons. He currently ranks 5th on the all-time sack list and 6th all-time in defensive points.
Greene enjoyed his best team success in 1993, when his San Diego Sharks made it to the league championship game. However, he never did get his hands on the coveted Gregory Cup.
