Mo Lewis was automatically inducted into the GFL Hall of Fame after retiring in 2004.  Though he may not have been a household name to casual football fans, GFL owners know that he was one of the great LBs to play in our league.  He made the All-Pro team 8 times, 3 of them as a first-teamer.  At the time of his retirement, Mo was 11th among LBs in sacks, 9th in tackles, and 10th in INTs.  Those solid numbers in all phases of the game put him in 4th place in overall points by a LB.

Lewis spent 5 years each with the Yaks and Tornadoes.  The closest he came to winning the Gregory Cup was an Orr Trophy in 1997 (3rd in playoffs) and a third place playoff finish again in 2001.
