Marvcus Patton was automatically inducted into the GFL Hall of Fame after retiring in 2003.  He spent most of his career with the Houston/Tennessee Cobras and the Jacksonville Junebugs.

Patton made 8 All-Pro teams, including 7 in a row and 4 as a 1st-teamer.  He was the 3rd-highest scoring LB in the GFL over the span 1997-2001, trailing only Ray Lewis and Chad Brown.   When he retired, he ranked 4th all-time in tackles.

Patton went to the playoffs 5 times and won the Gregory Cup in 1997 after being traded from the Cobras to the Indianapolis Yaks.
