John Randle was unanimously inducted into the
GFL Hall of
Fame in 2004. Randle spent all of his seasons except one with the
Cleveland/Baltimore Blackbirds. He made 6 all-pro teams and
ranked 6th in all-time points for a defensive lineman when he
retired. If you were to count all of his stats at the DT position
(his first four seasons were at DE), he would rank 1st in sacks and
points by a DT.
As a member of the Blackbirds, Randle also
enjoyed great team success, having won the Gregory Cup in 1992 and
1999. His teams made it to the playoffs 9 times.
