Tony Gonzalez was automatically inducted into the GFL Hall of Fame as part of the 2014 class. He finished his career 6th in points by a WR, and over 10,000 points better than the next best TE (Antonio Gates). He also made the All-GFL team 6 times.
Gonzalez bounced around to 12 different teams, since his numbers as a TE were generally not as strong as the league's best WRs. His longest stints with one team were 3 years with the Tampa Bay Toe Cheese and 5 years with Penguin's Chicago Cardinals. He never won the Gregory Cup, though he did make the post-season 6 times. He won 2 division titles with the Toe Cheese and finished 3rd in the post-season with the Yaks in 2007 and 2nd with the Blackbirds in 2008.
