Wayne Martin was inducted into the GFL Hall of Fame in 2001. Martin had a relatively short career, but was a dominant player, especially in his years with the Green Bay/Kansas City Camels.
Martin was an all-pro in 4 of his 8 seasons, including 3 first-team selections. He ranks 7th all-time in points for a DE and over the span 1992-1997 he ranks #2 in points by a DE behind only Bruce Smith. He ranks #1 in tackles by DEs over that span.
As a member of the Kansas City Camels, Martin helped lead his team to a 10-3 record and 3rd place in the playoffs in 1995. The following season the Camels lost just 1 game, but came up short again in the playoffs finishing 6th.
